A “þing” (thing) is the term used in this project to designate the situation when pactices of notation are simultaneously performed by at least two notators in the same location. A þing is defined by five parameters: the notators (more than one), the practices performed, the spatial delimitation in which such ecology of practices is realized, the duration of their performance and the inquired agency or agencies.
