Just as I was about to leave the studio, I noticed them—tiny ants, hundreds crawling around. The books have turned into nests. From book to book, carrying ant eggs, the whole library in the studio comes alive. A restlessness seizes the room. A new generation hatches. After maybe three hours, the entire ghostly spectacle is over. I have not the slightest clue about all the parallel worlds of life constantly surrounding me.
